1. Complete “Diagramming Sentences” worksheet.

2. Write 10 YA sentences for any 10 vocab words in unit 3. The spelling and vocabulary test will be on Friday, October 17th.

Grade 8

1. Write sentences for all Unit 3 vocabulary words. Unit 3 test is tomorrow.

2. Complete p. 262 #1-10 in Handbook.

**Periods 3 and 6 will go to the book fair on Wednesday, 10/15. Period 1 will go to the book fair on Thursday, 10/16.

FISHy Question for October

Sunny Wyler is not happy about having to go to a different school from her best friend. To show her displeasure, she has come up with a plan that she hopes will result in her being expelled from her school and sent to her best friend’s school.

What do you think of her plan? Do you think it will work? Why or why not? How would you feel if you were in Sunny’s position and were separated from your best friend?
