FISHy Question for October

October 7th, 2008

Sunny Wyler is not happy about having to go to a different school from her best friend. To show her displeasure, she has come up with a plan that she hopes will result in her being expelled from her school and sent to her best friend’s school.

What do you think of her plan? Do you think it will work? Why or why not? How would you feel if you were in Sunny’s position and were separated from your best friend?

When Sunny makes a plan to not wash her hair or her shirt until she is put back in her old school, I do not think that it will work. Sunny’s teacher will probly send he to the princials office and Sunny will be forced to change her shirt and wash her hair. Sunny is just really upset that she is not in that same school. Most likely after three days Sunny will see that the new school is not as bad as she thinks it is. Now she will make new friends and when it is hot, the school will be air-conditioned. I think that Sunny and Eddie will be the best friends. They both have problems and eventually they may team up.
If I was put in the position that Sunny was put in I would not make such a big deal about it. I would remember that my friend lives right across the street and we will see each other after school every day and on the weekends.

I do not think Sunny’s plan will work. Sunny’s plan was to purposely give the wrong answers for her school work, and she said she would never change her clothes or wash her hair. My opinion is she may get detention or get sent to the principal and he’ll call her parents, but she will not get expelled.

If I was in Sunny’s position, I would feel sad, but I wouldn’t try to get expelled. I would try to make plans after school and on the weekend with my best friend.

When I heard about Sunny’s plan to get kicked out of her new school and sent to her old school, I thought it was unlikely to ever work. I have never heard of anyone being kicked out of school for not washing their hair or clothes! I do not think this plan will work for several reasons. One reason is you would never get expelled from school for not doing a simple thing like washing your hair and clothes. The principal or staff members may talk to you and your parents about it, but they would solve the conflict without expelling a child. Another reason why I don’t think her plan will work is even if she did get expelled from her school, I do not think they would send her to her old school, because they are in the same district. I think if she ever did get expelled, she would have to go to a different school in a different town. If I was in Sunny’s position and I had to go to a different school than my best friend, I would feel lonely. I can’t imagine going to a new school with out your best friend when you thought you would always be together. Also, I would feel a little forgotten. Going to a new school is hard enough, and about the only thing you can count on to help you get through it is your friends. Going through that without your best friend must be a really hard experience.

I think that sunny’s plan is not going to work! Her plan is to be so miserable that they will send here to her friends school. If I were in her position I would fell upset. I would be disappointed and lonely! I don’t think I would do what she is doing. I think Sunny should try to make the best of the new school! She could get together wit her friend after school wenever she wants!

When I heard about Sunny’s plan to get expelled from the one school to be in the other school with her best friend I thought that was a pretty crazy idea. I did not think it would work though. I dont think it will work, because I don’t think they would expell you if you didnt wash your hair ever or shower. I think they would just have a talk with your parents. If my friend and I were seperated into different schools then I think I would be pretty infuriated. But, I would have to deal with it. I wouldn’t want to be some freak that doesn’t shower, never changes their apparel, and no one likes them. Because I could always visit my friend and hang out with her after school. It’s not like she moved to California. So, I don’t think Sunny’s plan will work, and I don’t agree with doing it if I were Sunny. I would be very sheepish if I had to.

I think that Sunny’s plan is not going to turn out the way she hopes, because of the plan itself. Not washing your hands or changing your clothes is not sanitary, but no one would let you tranfer to a different school because of that. I know if I were in Sunny’s position I would be very upset. Not being at school with your best friend is hard. Always having someone you know at a new school can calm you down, but their could be more positives in this situation then she can think of. One positive is the new oppertunities that she has to make new friends. Since Sunny is not washing her hair, no oone really wants to talk to her, because of her “dirty” ways. If she was herself, people might like her for who she is. Another positive is the chance to start at a new school. When she starts at a new school, she can open up to the new school’s plans, and maybe take a part of school clubs. I would do this to forget about how I am feeling about not having ny friend in school, and maybe she can meet people with the same interests as her. Although I know what she is trying to do in her plan, I think it is going to come out in the opposite way.

I think her plan will never work because if she is expelled from one school she won’t be sent to the other. I think she should just tell someone and ask to be transferred and if she was nice, serene and not so miserable all the time she might actually have fun at her new school and make some friends instead of scaring them and making them freak out. She can’t expect to have the same friends for the rest of her life.

I don’t think Sunny’s plan to get expelled from school is a good idea. She didn’t think her plan through. Bad hygeine would only annoy the faculty and students of her school. Her plan probably will not work, because a person would have to do something much worse to get expelled from school. It’s hard to get expelled and just not washing your clothes or hair wouldn’t be enough. If I were in Sunny’s position, I would be at a total loss without my best friend at school. I always need someone to cheer me up after a long class and my friend is always there for me. I can’t imagine school without her.

Sunny made a plan to get in her best friend’s school. The plan is that Sunny won’t wash her hair, change or wash her shirt, and sunny won’t talk to anybody not even teachers. No I don’t like her plan. I think she should do something like have her parents complain or she could write a persuasive letter to the mayer of the town telling him to put her in the other school. I also do not think that her plan will work. I think that the principal will want to keep her in the school so that she can learn how to make new friends.
If I was in Sunny’s position I would be upset about not being able to go to school with my best friend but, also see it as an opportunity to make new friends. I also would remember that my friend lives right across the street so I could see her any time I want to.

I do not think Sunny’s idea of not washing her clothes or hair will get her expelled from her school and transfered to another. I don’t think Sunny will have much luck with this plan. I think this because I belive her plan will end up like this. Sunny will be sent down to the office, her parents will be notified, and will bring a change of clothes. Sunny will be forced to change.
The reason Sunny isn’t changing her clothes or washing her hair is because she is upset because of the inconvenience that her and her best friend were seperated, and just missed being together. Sunny will probably get over it in the matter of days, and make friends with others over a period of time.
If my best friend and I were put into different schools,I would react differently than Sunny. I would go on with my regular school days because everyday after school, I would have fun with my best friend. We would do homework together, play outside, share what happened to each of us in school, ect. It would be hard to be in a different school than my best friend but, I would make new friends and still have time for my best friend who isn’t in my school.
